Bible Camp Fire
Bible Campfire offers teachings and explanations of the Bible, specifically designed for new believer or those at an entry level. Bible Camp Fire was born on June 13, 2024, when God woke LaShunn La'Carter and spoke the name "Bible Camp Fire," instructing her to rise and claim it. In obedience, she followed His guidance and found the name available, just as He had said. As 1 Corinthians 13:9 reminds us, "For we know in part, and we prophesy in part," meaning God reveals visions one step at a time. Our responsibility is to remain in His presence and fulfill His assignments. My writing and direction are led by God, as Romans 8:14 affirms: "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.The Bible is full of layers, and as you grow in your faith, you’ll need deeper studies and different types of teachers to guide you. These may include philosophers, theologians, historians, prophetic ministers, and, of course, number one the Holy Spirit Himself. As you grow, the type of teaching you need will depend on your goals and calling. At the foundation, the most important thing for any new believer to understand is salvation, redemption, and God’s plan for humanity. The story of salvation through Jesus Christ is revealed from Genesis to Revelation, showing God’s purpose for us from beginning to end.
My Story
LaShunn LaCarter is an ordained minister under Apostle Thaddeus Brown of The Father’s Heart Ministries, where she has served faithfully, guided by a pastor who has been a pillar of love and leadership for nearly 30 years. LaShunn leads the women’s ministry, teaches Sunday school, and finds profound fulfillment in outreach—feeding and serving the community through prayer, meals, and any other support needed to carry out God’s work. She believes that God’s kingdom is His divine business, carried out by those who are guided by His Spirit, and that we are His earthly messengers, embodying His will through acts of integrity and love. Her ultimate goal is to engage in missionary work and build a strong Christian community. LaShunn is a devoted believer in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, anchored in the truth of Christ's life, death, burial, and resurrection. She stands by the words of 1 John 4:3, embracing the belief that Jesus came in the flesh for the redemption of all humanity. Her faith journey began early, inspired by her mother, Prophetess Carter, and enriched by a lineage of anointed, God-fearing women, including her late Aunt Anna Mae Collins. Though raised in ministry, LaShunn experienced seasons of being “lukewarm,” in and out of church. Unwilling to live a double life, she would refrain from ministry when struggling, always respecting God’s house. Now, she encourages others to let God help them stay in the fight, trusting that His grace is sufficient.
In 2020, LaShunn rededicated her life to God, finding herself renewed and grounded in prayer. This transformative experience, led by the Holy Spirit, earned her the spiritual name “Altar Baby” as she was metaphorically “raised” on the altar, purged and purified from within. The scripture that sustained her during this time was Matthew 6:33: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Since her renewed commitment, she has served God wholeheartedly, believing that titles come with accountability, responsibility, and integrity.
